My name is Alexys, I am a physical therapist and athletic trainer in addition to a tumbling coach.  I grew up a multi-sport athlete with my two main sports being lacrosse and cheerleading. 

I have over 27 years of competitive cheerleading experience where I have spent majority of my time at Maryland Twisters with 5 years on F5 where I had the honor of winning multiple national championships and winning worlds in 2011.  Following my time at Maryland Twisters, I concluded my cheerleading career at Towson University where I competed all 4 years and won 2 collegiate NCA titles. 

I acquired my athletic training education while at Towson University in 2016 where I had the honor of working with both local highschool athletes in addition to collegiate athletes which included, track and cross country, gymnastics, cheerleading, and football. 

Following, I completed my doctoral degree in physical therapy at the University of St. Augustine where I was awarded the Stanley V. Paris and Catherine E. Patla Award for Excellence in Manual Physical Therapy and high honors in 2020. 

Since then I have been working as a sports physical therapist working with athletes of all ages in addition to treating woman's health, pelvic floor, pregnancy, and postpartum.
